My Company

If I had a company, that would definitely be a pet place for abandoned or unwanted pets. I would quite like to work in this company too, as I love taking care of animals. I would build a big building in the country, and I would have the animals in the back, with a vet in the front. I would also call this company Purrrfect pets. I chose this company because I love animals. I reckon that it would be an amazing experience.

Why do we need our toes?

Why do we need our toes?

Your toes will provide balance for you, and they are usually touching the ground 75% of the time. Your big toe is the most important toe of all your toes because it can bear almost twice the weight of all the other toes combined!! The pinky toe is the least useful though, as it is the smallest, it can carry the least weight, and it bears most impact on maintaining balance. If a person were to lose their pinky toe, it would make hardly any difference.

MY WEEK

my favourite game

My favorite game is home sheep home. In this game, there are three sheep. In order from biggest to smallest, they are Shirley, Shaun, and Timmy. Home sheep home is basically a quest to get them home. The three skills you might learn from this are hand-eye coordination for when you need to press the right buttons, the timing for when the sheep need to get past something that moves, and where to find the hidden underpants. (in the game) I rate this game five stars.

flip and flop

FLIP

My flip for this week was that I got all of my work done!!! My IE is doing awesome, and I only need to do the creation. I am going to make boomerang bags, as my IE is on pollution.

FLOP

My flop was that unfortunately, I did not get to finish the computer case I made in sewing tech. I only need to put the extra protective layer inside and sew the top and edges.

Cherub the recruit

The students at Ngatea primary school had a very exciting day on Monday the 23rd of July. The students in the Marama team had recruit training, in the celebration of 'Cherub: The recruit', as seen above.

There was an obstacle course where the students had to do star jumps, jump hurdles, crawl under tarpaulins, shoot a nerf gun at a target, run zig zags between cones, and throw tennis balls into buckets. A practical one, where they had to remember what was on the tray, and balance on a rope. There was also a drama one, where they had to do a small skit.
