MY HOLIDAYS

    

This is me flying on the plane to Christchurch. It was raining very heavily so I drew a lot of rain. The plane that we flew in hat TV's so on the flight we played games and watched movies. While I was in Christchurch I went to Mega Air, (the trampoline park) and the adventure park. In the adventure park we took a chairlift up to the top of the hill and biked down. I fell of 3 times on my second run.

My favourite space

My favourite space is the corporate box. I like the corporate box because it is made of glass and no one can do naughty things. The corporate box is used for meeting, talking, sharing, and watching videos.  I sometimes sit in there to listen to things without headphones. I know there are a lot of people who like this space. I once ran a workshop in there.

My Five Favorite learning expereience

1. Beach Ed
I learnt how to spot a rip, how to get out of a rip, how to stay safe at the beach and many other things from the awesome lifeguards.

2. Blog challenges
We had to write a t least 14 different blog posts, which were actually really really fun! (I tried to do three a day at least)

 3. Marama code
I learnt the meaning of a lot of words, like diligence. I can also now know what other people think those words mean.

 4. Art
I have now learnt to do many different types of art including pop art.

 5. Yoshi
I never knew how to play Yoshi before this year, but now I know what to do when someone calls "Yoshi!"

Easter

I made this to represent what I did over Easter. I went on an Easter egg hunt so I drew heaps of Easter eggs. I also spent the day with our kittens, Harry and Hopai. Harry is black and white with blue eyes, and Hopai is brown, black, and white. We had a very nice dinner with grandma, who gave me and Fraser an Easter egg each.

Did you ever think there would be an egg hunt on a mountain? well they had one on Table mountain in south Africa. Egg hunting enthusiasts would take a cable car to get to the hunt. it looks like they had a fantastic time! Along the way, the kids are entertained with fun activities like spinning the wheel and diving into a barrel of balls!

Line Stander
Do you just hate standing in line? well you can hire some of these people to stand in line! Crazy isn't it? I wouldn't be such a bad job though, as you could listen to music or something.

You have probably heard of them, the people who sit NAKED in front of the painters. I would definitely not want to do that.

It's just like babysitting only with trophys! They would probably get paid a lot of money though, and it would be easy.

Hoop man Yu-ya

A couple of days ago a man broke the record of the biggest hula hoop spun! It was at least 10 times bigger than your ordinary hula hoop.(approximately 5.14 meters) As he spun it, he had to run around in circles. I don't think I would be able to do that! As he started it of it took him a while just to get it of the ground! His name was Yuya Yamada aka hoop man Yu-ya.

The golden toilet

 Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a golden toilet? well the white house has one! They asked the museum to borrow a Van Gogh painting, but the museum gave them a toilet instead. They named the toilet america.Donald Trump is a very lucky president! I think it might actually be quite fun to have a gold toilet. I wonder how much it would cost? Did the white house pay?

Welcome to Hogwarts!

A group of Harry Potter fans have created a new website! Have you ever wanted to go to Hogwarts? well now you can! You have to be 13 to enter, but if you do, you can do everything a wizard does. 

I found it interesting that they managed to make a site that so many people can go on at once! They can go to classes, sleep in a dormitory, and attend to feasts all on a computer!

 I think that this would be pretty awesome to do that. Maybe you cold really learn use magic? That would be awesome!
